As Utahns, we either love or loathe the annual Sundance Film
Festival. It brings big crowds,
makes restaurants difficult to get a table at, fills our state with the rich
and famous, and permits everyone be a film critic (at least for a week). It’s a festival synonymous with
fancy parties and exclusive events making it right up our alley.
Sponsored by Ciroc Vodka, Zions Bank Corporation, Stella
Artois, Nalgene, and Brita Water Filters, the Salt Lake City Sundance Premier
Gala was held at Pierpont Place last week to a huge crowd of locals, visitors,
and a few celebrities here and there.
The food included a wide spread of local cheeses, fruits, and desserts
prepared by Main Event Catering.
Drinks flowed as guests mingled and discussed the film seen earlier that
evening at the Rose Wagner Theatre.
It was a fantastic start to what certainly turned out to be
another well-done Sundance. We
here at Pierpont Place and Premier Event Services have been producing excellent
events for the festival for years and are looking forward to Sundance 2014
already!
