As you may have noticed, yours truly has been out of town for a few weeks. That's not to say that anything has stopped the rest of the Pierpont and Premier team from creating top notch events here in Salt Lake!

We Are All A Little Irish

Hosted Salt Lake Chamber's March Women Business Forum Mixer St. Patrick's Day is an excellent excuse to celebrate being Irish(ish???). At Pierpont Place, we're all a little Irish(ish) and certainly know how to party like an Irish lass! Pierpont Place hosted the Salt Lake Chamber's March Women's Business Forum Mixer, exemplifying our business savvy as a fully female owned and operated business. 

Female entrepreneurs within the community joined us to sip on our Naught Girl Scout Martinis, sample our delicious appetizers (dates stuffed with almonds and herb cheese, wrapped in bacon, and dipped in raspberry sauce), and network with other successful businesswomen. An Irish duo entertained guests on the cello and guitar, raffle prizes were won, and connections were made.

But don't let this event allow you to think that we only host events for adults! It's prom season and personally, I'm so excited!! While my proms (all four) were all about dressing up and the after party, Bingham High certainly had an event to remember, thanks to Premier Event Services.

What do you do when it's a week before spring officially starts, and the weather is 75, sunny, and for lack of a better word, GLORIOUS?? Well, if you're with Premier Event Services you throw a kick butt party!!

I have to consider myself lucky when looking back on my childhood. My hippie parents were dedicated to getting my sister and I to each and every extracurricular activity we were a part of. My older sister, the daintier of the two of us, was a ballet dancer, while I was more interested in the physically violent sports (watch a women's water polo match). Regardless, I spent countless hours a week doing homework in the local dance studio and watching my sister pirouette and plié, and I grew to love ballet.

"I'm not pregnant! I just ate too much carnival food, it's that time of the month, I hurt my back & couldn't suck my gut in, & I need to do cardio!"

The Excuses of Not Exercising

What a winter we've all had here in Utah. One of the coldest Januarys on record, more snow in the valley's than in the mountains, and crazy winter storms that have given us some epic pow days. It's all part of the Utah winter experience that I love (and sometimes hate). But most of the time we associate the circus and carnivals with a season much warmer and than February. Well, the Utah Pride Center and Pierpont Place simply don't agree.

This past weekend, Pierpont Place put together the Utah Pride Center's Winter Carnival in association with Sage Utah. Embracing a masquerade theme, guests hopped in front of the camera donning a colorful and sparkly array of masks, feather boas, top hats, and other fabulous props sponsored by Now & Again. And of course, Premier Bar Services was right there alongside our friends, serving a variety of cocktails, wines, and local brews.

Thanks again to the Utah Pride Center for loving Pierpont Place just as much as we love them!
